Firebird robotics is a club where you can bring your knowledge and passion for programming, designing, art and more into building a competing robotic team. it's not only about robotics!

Team Roles

We are in need of people!

Team Leader

Coordinates activities and helps things run smoothly. This person is not the “boss” of others on the team.

Builder

Responsible for overseeing the building of the robot as well as building the actual robot.

Programmer

Responsible for overseeing all programming of the robot. This includes learning how to write code.

Quality Assureance

Responsible for making sure the robot is built in a sturdy way and that everything produced by the group has a quality look. They are also responsible for media management.

Drivers

These students are responsible for operating the robot during the actual matches.

Pit Crew

These students will be responsible for fixing, maintaining and improving the robot between matches.

Scout

These students are responsible for watching every match and recording information about all of the robots at the competition.

Researchers

Coordinates the research projects conducted by the group. Will handle any other research assigned.

Writer

Responsible for the quality of the written material produced by the group. This person should not write anything entirely on their own.
